MAHS
The More Allied Health Scheme (MAHS) is a commonwealth government health initiative to provide for allied health services to rural areas.
In conjunction with the Toowoomba Division of General Practice we provide podiatry services to Pittsworth residents. The Toowoomba Division of General Practice has diabetes as the focus of their MAHS scheme. To be eligible for this service the patient needs to be a diabetic, resident of the Pittsworth area and be referred. We provide a monthly visiting service to Pittsworth and are currently working from the old dentists surgery in Short St Pittsworth.

In conjunction with the Southern Queensland Division of General Practice we provide podiatry services to Allora and Clifton residents. The Southern Queensland Division of General Practice has general podiatry as the focus of their MAHS scheme. To be eligible for this service the patient needs to be a referred by their GP and resident of the Allora / Clifton area. We provide a monthly visiting service to Clifton and 2 monthly to Allora.
